Wednesday Evening Programs Children Programming The Eden Mennonite Church provides Wednesday evening Christian Education for children from age 2 through 8th grade. We have one children’s choir that also meets on Wednesday evenings. The Eden Youth Choir is made up of students in grades K-6. To learn more click here— Choirs
Youth Programming The Junior Youth Fellowship (JYF) meets on Wednesday evenings for singing, Bible study and fellowship. The group consistes of students in seventh and eighth grades. The EYF (Eden Youth Fellowship) also meets on Wednesday evenings for singing, Bible study and fellowship. It is a group of about 50 high school age youth from the communities of Buhler, McPherson and primarily Moundridge. The EYF is also active in service, fundraising for trips and monthly activities. Adult Bible Study For our adults we offer a Wednesday evening Bible study. The topics of study change every fall and spring and the material chosen is encouraging and challenging to our Anabaptist Christian faith and values, and connects to all generations.
Choir Rehearsals Wednesday evening ,during Bible study, the adult Chancel Choir rehearses for one hour in preparation for their part in the upcoming Sunday morning worship. Followed by Men’s Chorus rehearsal for 45 minutes. Our Ladies Choir meets only as needed, but on Wednesday evenings as well. All of these choirs are care giving, faith nurturing and musically esteemed. New comers and visitors are always welcome to join in the choral music programs of the Eden Mennonite Church.
