Children’s Sunday, June 1, 2025

The congregation was blessed in worship by children of all ages during our annual Children’s Day. We were ushered into worship by individuals sharing during the prelude with piano, recorder, dance, vocal solo/piano duet, guitar, trumpet duet and clarinet. Each Sunday School class selected a story they learned or question they researched and presented it to the congregation. The service concluded with an impromptu drama of “Daniel in the Lion’s Den.”  Games and water play followed the meal of grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and potluck side dishes. This is our annual kick-off to summer. How do you celebrate children in worship?
